Upgraded to the latest version of Illustrator (I originally had CC 2015 19.1.0 and it was lovely) Now when drawing any object, either with the pen tool or a shape tool, it will not stop snapping to the pixel grid. All the various places you turn snapping features off have been turned off. Smart guides have been turned off too.There are two options: directly in the palette for the selected object and in the palette menu for all further objects. Use the transforam palette to turn that off in the flyout menu. You also have another setting on the bottom of the transform palette. Also check to amek sure you have view >> snap to grid turned off. While snapping to a grid is great when you are making a layout, it really sucks if you try to make a curve or the placement of an anchorpoint exactly right and the application won’t let you do it. Extremely frustrating. I think I’ll start over in Adobe Illustrator, because I have no control in Figma and need precision.To turn on pixel snapping, use the Snap To Pixels command in the View menu. Heck, even smart guides are often "off" by a few pixels. If you click-drag on the end anchor point you'll have better luck with it snapping to the intersection. Snapping is often dependent upon the position of the cursor. However, Smart Guides will never show that intersection.
